Hospitality House Benefit Concert this Saturday

October is a busy month. There are SO many things happening around town and it’s hard to choose between them! Since the late ’80′s, October has been recognized as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the local shelter that provides services for victims of domestic violence schedules events during the month to promote this campaign.
This year, as part of our 30th Anniversary celebration, the Hospitality House for Women, Inc. is hosting it’s first annual fundraiser concert in the Courtyard at Schroeder’s Downtown on Saturday, the 18th. We hope you can come out and join us for a song or two.
We are fortunate to have Renee Mixon and Devidasa agree to play for us. We are looking forward to a great evening of music and fun. Throughout the evening we’ll be doing $1 raffles of gift certificates from generous businesses like H&R Block, Purple Mountain Natural Foods, and Santa Fe Cattle Company.
The cost is $5 for adults; kids are FREE – a steal for such a worthy cause! We’ll be there from 5pm until closing time (11pm).
Domestic violence infiltrates our lives and our community on multiple levels. Through our efforts to raise awareness, we hope to help victims find safety. Please come hear some great music, find out more about what we do, and show your support.
