I got the opportunity to do a Mullins Mania segment on two radio stations for the New Year’s Eve event schedule. On Wednesday morning I did a spot with Elizabeth Davis at WLAQ 1410 AM for her show “Good Morning Rome”. That was a lot of fun.
After that I went and did a spot on 95.7 The Ridge FM with Matt D on his show “Matt D in the Morning”. That was also a lot of fun. I enjoyed getting the chance to watch the show hosts at work and to participate myself. I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I’d be. I guess because that’s pretty early to me and I think I was still too asleep to be nervous. So it worked out.
I’m going to get back in there and do it again but I’m not sure when. I’ll be sure to post in case anybody wants to start out their day planning what they’re going to do that evening.
My friend Ian Griffin from V3 Magazine also does sports commentary on both programs and my friend John Druckenmiller of HometownHeadlines.com does a local business segment on at least one of them if not both. I know he’s on The Ridge.
Anyway, that was a fun way to start out my New Year’s Eve. Thank you Elizabeth and Matt.
