TONIGHT

Russell McClanahan & the mOOn Crew uphold their longstanding Thursday night residence at Harvest Moon, performing old time string band versions of multiple genres for the dinner crowd.

Summerville’s finest, Matt Chambers, brings acoustic Southern rock and country to 333 on Broad.

FRIDAY

Local favorite Scott Thompson always brings a joyous crowd to wherever he’s playing. Friday night he’ll set up shop at 333 on Broad for an excellent evening of acoustic picking.

Lee Shealy and Alan Smith will bring the Backswing band back up to the Moon Roof for another night of devout musicianship and much loved classics.

Heavy Grain is a new project that I don’t know too much about, except that Stephen Smith is in the band, and sure that can’t be a bad thing. Check them out at the 400 Block.

There will be a reception for Henry Punpkin’s Little Flood art show will take place at All Things Artistic on Broad Street.

Rome Little Theatre presents the final weekend of 12 Angry Men. You won’t want to miss this one at the DeSoto Theater. Friday, Saturday and a Sunday matinee are your last chances.

SATURDAY

Keir, Clay Miles bring comedy back to MB’s

The Village Theatre is bringing comedy back to MB’s and comedy fans are thrilled. Saturday they’ll host multitalented Kier and hilarious Clay Miles. I highly recommend clicking on their links from MullinsMania.com as they are two very unique comedians.

Scott Warren & the Collard Green Berets will get down on some bluesy roots rock and country picking at 333 on Broad. Warren picks the heck out of his guitar and can rattle the room with booming vocals.

Ben Bagley will bring country and Southern rock acoustic to the 400 Block Bar for a nice evening in a fine environment.
